Too many eggs you’ve been a pick’n.
Now I’ll have to find the knife,
And end your sweet egg-eating life!
Oh sweet, fat, tender hen,
A useful purpose you’ll serve again.
Now I’ll put you in the pot,
And make a tasty soup, so hot!
Note to cooks: Organically raised old laying hens make fine soup, but the soup of an egg-eater is magnificent! This particular soup of afor mentioned chicken was simmered with veggies and fresh rosemary. Then a mixture of brown and wild rices and acorn squash was added.
