Summer Solstice (a late night for sheep)

Taken about 10:30 at night. This much light meant that the lambs were up, and running around much to the dismay of the ewes. Moms and babies called out, looking for each other in the twilight. What a noise! By 11:00 it was darker and the lambs were settled in for the night!

A rainy day today, and the poppies are on their last legs. Cat Mint (Nepeta Dropmore) is in its prime and the Siberian Iris is just beginning to open its star-like blooms.
I did some dyeing - Corriedale roving in a summer fiesta of colors.
