I was able to round up the Narragansett turkeys and get them into the chicken house. This photo was taken shortly after they were brought indoors. They were looking somewhat perplexed but have adjusted well. They share the building with ducks, chickens, guinea fowl and Banties. Its a must for each group to have their own pen. It keeps life peaceful in close quarters!

Since my last post, frigid arctic winds have swept over the land and we are all in the deep freeze. Thankfully we have lots of bedding for the livestock and we've tried to keep them as comfortable as possible. Photo above shows our little kitten "Horus Toonsis". His barn cat mother abandoned him when the weather turned cold. His hair is very short so I made a little sweater from an old sock. His head is in the blown out toe and his front legs are where the worn out heel used to be. He had no problems adjusting, and was soon curled up and sound asleep!
