The new Corriedale ram

Introducing the new ram in the Corriedale flock "Crow Hill" or as I fondly call him "Mr. Pajama Bottoms" named for his sturdy, woolly legs. He has gotten his little front feet into the round feeder yet again, and has possibly been standing there a long time.
I grab my camera and come over to help lift his legs up and out. You can see the young ewes in the background and I definitely heard one say, "Could you help him out mam?" Whereas the old ewe in the foreground is of another opinion and thinks I should leave the silly fellow in there!

He doesn't look at all worried, does he. And as I step closer, he backs up, lifts his own front feet and deftly hops out. He was not trapped at all, but quite content to stand for hours in the feeder. Looking back at this photo I think I see a little smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes! Naughty Mr. P.J. - now get back to work !
