March going out like a lamb

Daisy with new ram lamb "Pilgrim", born on a sunny morning as March goes out like a lamb!
Six more weeks before the Corriedale Crosses have their lambs. And what do we have here! Now I remember! Last November, the neighbors were over to see the sheep and left a gate open. Out ran a swift young ram named Rocky, and this wee lad is the result.
I quoted to a friend only weeks ago this poem about all the planning in the world, and how things take their own course...
The best-laid schemes o' mice an' men
Gang aft agley,
An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain
For promis'ed joy!
(stanza from "To A Mouse" by Robert Burns 1785)
A loose translation would be - The best laid plans of mice and men go awry, leaving us grieving for the way we planned it to be.

I love lamb pictures! Keep them coming. (In between all the real work of lambing, of course!)
